Consider yourself most cordially invited to pig out with us!  Our honored Guest Chef Araceli Barrera will lead us in our 1st installment of 2016's Pignic Pop-Up Series.

OINK is an adventure in all things snouted and curly tailed.  Please review the mouth watering menu and dinner schedule below.

Chef Araceli is the manager and catering manager of Wedge Cheese Shop in the Midtown District.  She has been tempting our Reno Foodies community with her posts of incredibly balanced and photogenic food for far too long!  This will be her first professional dinner party.  Please show support for this wonderful member of our vibrant and blossoming community.

MENU: (each course is paired with Wine, Beer, or Cocktail . . . Pairings announced soon!)

(Snack) Chicharones Sampler  /  Suggested Pairing: La Luca Prosecco or Shipwreck Vanilla Rum Daiquiri or Tieton Wild Apple Cider.

(1st) Speck Wrapped Seared Scallops w/ Bacon Fat Dijou Aioli.  Lardo Crostini w/ Cherry Tomato & Spinach  /  Paired with Dourthe Sauvignon Blanc.

(2nd) Braised Pork Shoulder in a Truffle Butter Sauce and Fried Sage.  Served over Tagliatelle  /  Paired with Tahoe Mountain Biere De Guarde.


(3rd) Seared Pork Belly served over Tartiflette with Pea Shoots and Berry Reduction  /  Paired with Bacon Washed Crater Lake Rye Boysenberry Jam Sour.

(4th) Cheese & Sweets Flight with Bacon Marmalade & Bacon Chocolate  /  Paired with Gotes Del Priorat
